Nienke Alberts

Nienke Alberts is a Senior Research Associate and Lecturer in Anthropology at the University of Bristol. She led on the Personal Tutoring Project, a research project that was set up to review and evaluate personal tutoring at the University of Bristol, looking at the experiences of both staff and students. In this role she also advises the University of Bristol on personal tutoring policy and practice. Previously, she worked as a researcher at AccessHE on research identifying barriers students from minoritised backgrounds face accessing Higher Education while supporting universities to evaluate the impact of their outreach activities. She has worked as a lecturer at University College London, the University of Roehampton, and the University of East London.
