Harriet Jones is a senior lecturer at the University of East Anglia. She is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship in 2019 for her work on the holistic approach to the school-to-university transition. She specializes in teaching first year students in the School of Biological Sciences and has been researching the problems her students face in making the move into HE for the last 20 years. She has worked with UCAS, Ofqual, OCR, AQA and IB, and has contributed to conferences and workshops with educators on both sides of the school-to-university transition.
