Daniel Scott

Daniel Scott broadly defines himself as a learning technologist, and is also a consultant, writer and author. He began his learning technology career at a further education college, in the context of teacher education and learning support, then progressed to higher education. He specialises across the spectrums of learning design and digital capabilities, proactively analysing, developing and supporting pedagogical and administrative practices for effective application and solutions in digital technology. He is an active external consultant who has worked on national projects for The Education and Training Foundation and acted as an external quality assurer. He is the winner of the Association for Learning Technology Learning Technologist of the Year award 2016. He holds a technology enhanced learning MSc and is qualified in teaching, assessing, lead internal verification, management and leadership, and information technology and computing.
