Inspection/E-inspection copies

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19 WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO OFFER E-INSPECTION COPIES AT PRESENT

E-inspection copies are available to any academic who is a module leader from an accredited college or university. Simply go to the website page for the title you are interested in and click on the 'Request E-inspection Copy' tab on the right hand side of the page. Assuming your request fulfils our criteria, e-inspection copies wil be available within a few hours.

You  can also click here to request up to 3 titles and you should have access to them almost immediately. If, having reviewed the text, you decide to adopt it we would be pleased to send you a printed desk copy when the crisis is over.

If you do not see the ‘Request Inspection Copy’ tab on the right hand side of the page, then the title is not available for inspection. If you believe that the unavailable book is highly likely to be adopted for your course, you can complete the form below and we will review your request.

Is my e-inspection copy completely free of charge?

Yes. As a small independent company we can only afford to continue to be generous with our inspection copy policy if you, as a lecturer and academic, help us as much as you can. We would therefore be grateful if you could reply to our email asking for feedback which we will send you in a month’s time.

If you like the title, please could you also consider:

• making sure you add it to your reading list;
• showing it to your students;
• asking your librarian to buy in some copies;
• posting a review on Amazon (or encouraging your students to) – it really helps sales!

How do I submit my feedback?

We will send you an email in around a month's time and you just need to reply to the email. If you want to send in feedback earlier you can send it to admin@criticalpublishing.com.

Where can I find the supporting resources for my title?

Free sample chapters for almost all of our books are located on the book's product page on the left hand side. You can find the product page by entering the ISBN or title into the search bar. Some of our books also come with supplementary resources and they can be found either on the product page or under the Free Resources tab towards the top of the Home Page.
