Inspection copy request process

 
We are happy to provide up to 3 complementary inspection copies per request to any academic who is a module leader from an accredited college or university. We would also be very grateful if you will complete a feedback form within 60 days of receiving your copy.
 

How to request an inspection copy

To request an inspection copy click on the icon on the right on the book's product page and complete the short form provided. If your order meets our Terms and Conditions  (see link below), your inspection copies will be delivered within 15 working days.
 
If you do not see the ‘Request Inspection Copy’ tab on the right hand side of the page, then the title is not available for inspection. If you believe that the unavailable book is highly likely to be adopted for your course, you can send the full title and outline of your course in an email to admin@criticalpublishing.com and we will review your request.        

Overseas lecturers - we are happy to offer you e-inspection copies of our titles. Please go to

Is my inspection copy completely free of charge?

Our inspection copies are complementary provided that you have been verified as an academic, are teaching or preparing for a relevant module. 
 
As a small independent company we can only afford to continue to be generous with our inspection copy policy if you, as a lecturer and academic, help us as much as you can. We would therefore be grateful if you could try to reply to our email asking for feedback which we will send you in a month’s time.
 
If you like the book, please could you also consider:

• making sure you add it to your reading list;
• showing it to your students;
• asking your librarian to buy in some copies;
• posting a review on Amazon (or encouraging your students to) – it really helps sales! 


How do I submit my feedback?

We will send you an email in around a month's time and you just need to reply to the email. If you want to send in feedback earlier you can send it to admin@criticalpublishing.com and just answer the following questions:

1. Will you be recommending this book to your students? 
 
2. Will it be a key text or supplementary reading, and for which course or module?
 
3. What do you like or dislike about the book?
 
4. Let us know your teaching interests so we can send you publications relevant to your courses.

How many copies can I order per year?

You can order up to 6 books per year.
 

Where can I find the supporting resources for my title?

Free sample chapters for almost all of our books are located on the book's product page on the left hand side. You can find the product page by entering the ISBN or title into the search bar. Some of our books also come with supplementary resources and they can be found either on the product page or under the Free Resources tab towards the top of the Home Page.
 

My inspection copy hasn’t arrived!

If you have ordered an inspection copy of a book that hasn’t yet published, you will receive your copy within 14 days of the publication date.
 
For all other missing copies, please check your university’s general mailroom, nearby pigeon holes and colleague's desks before contacting us. You would be amazed how many books turn up that way! If you are unable to locate your parcel after 14 business days please contact admin@criticalpublishing.com
